Records Damaged by Flooding

Records Damaged by Flooding

I have yet to file my tax return for the year ended 5 April 2009, as some of my records were recently damaged by flooding at my business premises. Should I send an estimate of my income and expenditure for the period, or should I wait to see if the documents can be recovered?
