We focus our accountancy skills specifically on small business and individual taxpayers to over 80,000 clients. We specialise in providing accountancy services, tax returns, payroll, bookkeeping, tax savings, and tax advice to our clients - Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies and Personal Taxpayers.
We have established processes in place, along with access to excellent ongoing training and technical support in all aspects of the role. We focus on utilising technology and enjoy using cutting edge apps and cloud-based software to better service our clients.
An excellent opportunity has now arisen in our established multi-office Accountancy firm for a full-time permanent qualified Technical Manager in our Bishop's Stortford office. Occasional travel to other offices may be required. The responsibilities of this role will require reviewing the work of others before onward submission to the client. Exceptional attention to detail and strong technical knowledge are pre-requisites. Full system training will be given. There could be opportunity for advancement dependent on ability.
Contracted hours: 40 hours per week
Holidays: 25 working days plus bank holidays, 33 days in total
Reporting to the Practice Director, responsibilities will include:
· Reviewing the work of others before onward submission to the client
· Providing support and advice to other members of the team
· Communicating with clients
· Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
· Work confidently with various computer and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
· Visiting other offices and clients occasionally.

· Able to demonstrate a natural ability with numbers and a keen attention to detail
· Quick and efficient worker
· Many years' demonstrable experience working in an accountancy practice
· Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
· Friendly disposition and a team player
· Good oral/written English skills
· Effective communicator
· Driver with car essential

Pay: £52,000.00-£62,400.00 per year
